Calendar 2020 Photography Submission Guidelines
In our April newsletter, we introduced our theme for our 2020 calendar submissions and asked people to start thinking about and photographing their ideas for submission.
The theme is ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ for a broad spectrum of wildlife across the UK. We do ask that the submissions are native UK species, however we have opened up the gates for a wide variety of species; from insects to mammals and birds to bees.
To set some other guidelines, here are a few other things you should consider:
- All photos will be printed in landscape format (portrait photos will be considered however large areas, top and bottom of the photo/scan will be cropped to fit)
- A maximum of 3 photos/scans can be submitted
- They do not have to be photographs, per se, if you are an artist you can submit scans or photographs or your artwork (i.e. paintings, screen prints, etc)
- Images should be submitted in the highest resolution possible (these will be printed at A4 and low quality images will have to be excluded from consideration)
The deadline for submissions is Friday 27 September. Finalists will be announced at the beginning of October with calendars available to pre-order throughout October, including via email. They will be available to buy at our November and December meetings, or if pre-ordered can be picked up at these meetings for no additional P+P cost.
Please forward all your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org
